Getting paid shouldn’t be a struggle.
Planique provides NDIS plan management for providers and aims to process compliant invoices within two business days. Payment timing can also depend on participant authorisation, NDIA claim processing and payment controls.
Why providers like working with us
- Clear processing target. We aim to process compliant invoices within two business days, subject to participant authorisation, NDIA claim processing and payment controls.
- Correct the first time. We check every claim, so there’s less back-and-forth.
- Easy invoicing. Send invoices straight to us — simple and clear.
- Real people. Questions answered quickly by someone who knows their stuff.
How to invoice us
Email a compliant invoice to invoices@planique.com.au. New provider? Get in touch and we’ll walk you through it.
What we need on an invoice
Including these details helps us assess and process the invoice without avoidable delay:
- Your business name and ABN
- Your bank details (or a note that they’re unchanged)
- An invoice number and date
- The participant’s full name and NDIS number
- The date or dates the support was delivered — not the invoice date
- A description of the support, and the NDIS support item number if you have it
- Quantity, unit and rate — hours, kilometres, sessions, items
- The total, and GST status (most NDIS supports are GST-free; say so either way)
If you invoice for several participants, one invoice per participant makes everyone’s life easier.
What happens if something’s wrong
We don’t pay first and untangle it afterwards. That approach spends a participant’s budget on an error and then asks them to wear it.
If an invoice can’t be paid as submitted, we come back to you quickly — same day where we can — with the specific thing that needs fixing. Usually it’s one of:
- A rate above the maximum price in the NDIS pricing schedule for that support item
- A support that isn’t funded in that participant’s plan, or a category that’s been exhausted
- Missing service dates, or dates outside the plan period
- A duplicate of an invoice already paid
- The wrong support item number for the service described
Resend the corrected invoice and the two-business-day processing target starts from when the corrected invoice is received.
Price limits and rate changes
The NDIS pricing schedule changes at the start of each financial year, and sometimes mid-year. We check every invoice against the limits current on the date of service, not the date of the invoice — which occasionally means an old service is checked against an old limit.
If you think a limit has been applied incorrectly, tell us. We’d rather have the conversation than have you write off the difference.
Working with us on a new participant
If a participant is moving to Planique, we will confirm where to send invoices. After the NDIS records the change, claims submitted by the previous plan manager may be rejected. The previous manager should forward outstanding invoices to the new manager, which can submit eligible claims for supports delivered earlier in the same plan period.
If you’ve got a participant who’s looking for a plan manager, you can refer them to us directly — with their consent. We aim to respond within one business day and set up the Planique account within two business days after receiving consent and the information we need. Refer a participant →
Provider questions
Do I need to be NDIS-registered to invoice you? Plan-managed participants can generally use registered and unregistered providers, subject to their plan and the current NDIS support rules.
How do I know an invoice arrived? Ask us — a real person will confirm. We’d rather answer that than have you wondering.
What are your hours? Monday to Friday, 8.30am–5pm AWST. We’re in Osborne Park, so if you’re in WA we’re on your clock.
Do you require a service agreement? Your service agreement is with the participant, not with us. We just need to be able to see that the support is funded.
What if the participant disputes an invoice? We’ll tell you promptly and won’t pay it while it’s in dispute. We’ll work with both of you to resolve it.
