What Planique does

Financial administration for plan-managed funding

A plan manager pays providers, keeps records and helps participants understand their plan-managed spending. You continue to choose your supports and providers.

Check and process invoices

We check service dates, provider details, rates and support categories before submitting eligible claims.

Maintain financial records

Invoices, claims and payments are recorded so you can see how plan-managed funding has been used.

Report on your budget

Regular statements show spending, remaining balances and whether spending appears faster or slower than expected.

Invoice processing

A clear service target

We aim to process compliant invoices within two business days. Payment timing can also depend on participant authorisation, NDIA claim processing and payment controls.

Providers can send compliant invoices to invoices@planique.com.au.

Fees and funding

How plan-management funding works

If plan management is included in your NDIS plan, the plan includes funding for this service. Planique does not charge participants a setup fee, exit fee or separate out-of-pocket service fee.

The NDIA decides whether plan management is included and how it is funded. Plan-management funding cannot be assumed for every person or plan. For individual decisions, speak with your my NDIS contact or the NDIA.

Changing plan managers

Support through the handover

You can choose to change plan managers, but several parties may need to take action.

Tell your current manager
Check your notice period
Notify the NDIS
Coordinate invoices and providers

After the NDIS records the change, claims submitted by the previous manager may be rejected. The previous manager should forward outstanding invoices to the new manager. With your consent, Planique can help coordinate the handover and work to reduce disruption.

Common questions

Questions about choosing a Perth plan manager

Do I have to use a Perth-based plan manager?

No. You can choose a registered plan manager that serves your location. A Perth-based team may be helpful if you prefer local business hours and WA-based contact.

Can I use unregistered providers?

Plan-managed participants can generally use registered and unregistered providers, subject to their plan and the current NDIS support rules.

Can I change plan managers during my plan?

Yes. Tell your current plan manager, follow the notice requirements in your service agreement and notify the NDIS. Planique can explain the process and support the handover.

How can I compare plan managers?

Ask who will answer your questions, how invoices are checked, when compliant invoices are processed, what budget reports you receive and how the manager handles complaints and transitions.

General information only. Check current NDIS guidance or speak with the NDIA about an individual plan.
